The celebrated virtuoso partnership of Máire Ní Chathasaigh, "the doyenne of Irish harpers," and Chris Newman, "one of the UK's most staggering and influential acoustic guitarists," has brought its special musical vision to venues large and small.  Their performances are rooted but eclectic, emotional but adventurous --  a breathtaking blend of traditional Irish music, hot jazz, bluegrass, and baroque, coupled with striking new compositions and Chris's delightfully subversive wit. Their performances are described as “music of fire and brilliance from the high-wire act in traditional music” (The Irish Times).

Join us for our monthly Fund Raising dinner to support our tutoring program for remediation of  Dyslexia in our children.  Applications for enrollment now being taken.

Help us earn money by bringing your unwanted gently used or new:

Clothing, shoes, handbags, belts, shoes, hats, kitchen utensils, home décor, yard décor, plates, cups, housewares, linens, art, tools, sporting equipment, toys, jewelry, or small kitchen appliances

This year’s donation site is THE ASK ACADEMY 4550 SUNDT RD in Rio Rancho on Saturday April 28 10a-230p.

Every bag helps! 

Please no TVs, mattresses, large furniture or appliances, bicycles, computers, books, baby items, weapons, auto parts, construction materials, chemicals or medical supplies.  

This year in addition to our bake sale, we will have a “treasures” table where you can purchase some of the donated items.  So, remember to save a little time for snacking and shopping when you drop off your items!  

What interesting times we are facing when it comes to bullying and harassment at work.  From Hollywood to the White House we see conduct that violates what we have always known to be unacceptable, and unlawful.  So, we have to ask ourselves what we are doing wrong, how can these violations continue to take place.

The purpose of this conversation is to take 10 steps back from the news stories and explore what behaviors need to be addressed, what is your responsibilities and how we all contribute to a more respectful workplace.

The National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) is the nation's largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

There will be a car show, climbing wall, face painters, food trucks, tethered hot air balloons, coffee station and first aid!

The Rio Rancho Youth Chorus is a non-profit community chorus for middle & high school students from Rio Rancho, Albuquerque and all surrounding areas and is directed by the wonderful Aaron Howe.
