The City of Rio Rancho’s Keep Rio Rancho Beautiful Division (KRRB)
and New Mexico Clean & Beautiful invite residents to take part in
the 2017 Toss No Mas community cleanup event on Saturday, Sept. 16 from 8
a.m. to noon.
The event gives people an opportunity to work
together with one goal in mind - keep New Mexico clean and beautiful.
Individuals, schools, nonprofit organizations, and sports teams are
encouraged to take part in this event and compete with other communities
throughout New Mexico in clearing litter and debris from roadways,
parks, and bike paths.
Volunteers will be given the option to take part in one of the following:
•Litter removal and open space cleanup (illegal dump site cleanup at designated sites)
•School cleanup
All
volunteers who participate in the event will receive trash bags,
gloves, and goody bags. Volunteers will be rewarded with lunch and will
be eligible to participate in a prize drawing following the cleanup at
Sabana Grande Recreation Center. To register for the event, please call
