Principal Accountabilities: (essential job
functions)1.
Oversees
and directs the company’s quality outcomes measurement and performance system.
2.
Performs
periodic document audits of program records inclusive of participant/child record review and for
productivity and billing compliance with training requirements mandated by
other regulatory agencies.
3.
Performs periodic internal audits of programs and processes
for ensuring effectiveness and efficiencies within and among departments and
divisions.
4. Acts as participant
representative, to include participant complaints, development, distribution
and analysis of participant surveys, and
coordination of participant meetings, as
necessary.
5.
Publishes
results of the participant surveys for
Senior Leadership review with recommendations for quality improvement.
6. Follows-up on all Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation (ANE) reports
to assure incident resolution; maintain incident logs associated trend
analysis.
7. Maintains DOH Incident
Report Training Certification.
8. Oversees
and directs the Quality Assurance Manager in ensuring ANE trainings are
provided within required timeframes and that the Incident Management System is
maintained, reviewed and administered properly and within DOH guidelines.
9. Conducts
investigations of reported allegations of fraud, waste and abuse and provides
written findings and recommendations to CEO.
10.
Ensures
compliance with all applicable internal/external quality assurance
requirements.
11.
Serves
as the company’s Compliance Officer and HIPAA Privacy Officer.
12.
Provides
annual mandatory training to staff on the following regulatory topics: Incident
Management and HIPAA.
13.
Ensures
compliance with the company’s Master Compliance List.
14.
Develops,
recommends and writes policies and procedures that address the quality
assurance process and company initiatives related to quality assurance.
15.
Reviews,
prioritizes, develops and implements continuous quality improvement (CQI)
projects.
16.
Oversees
the duties of and directs the Quality Control Inspector in ensuring that
contractual requirements and quality
control standards are met.
17.
Conducts
off-site quality control inspection audits at to verify that procedures are
followed according to Quality Control Plans
and quality assurance standards.
18.
Produces
CQI trending and aggregate data reports.
19.
Publishes results of customer satisfaction surveys as
dictated by Quality Control Plans for Senior Leadership review with
recommendations for quality improvement.

20.
Complies
with all applicable LifeROOTS, Inc. policies and procedures.
21.
Ensures
that areas identified for quality improvement are addressed with time framed
corrective action plans that are monitored and trended.
22.
Empties
“suggestion box” and presents ideas/suggestions to the President and CEO in the
form of a weekly report.
23.
Assures
compliance with all Federal, State and Local standards specific to the
operating and service delivery of the company’s contractual requirements.
24. Exercises personnel
authority with respect to employment, training, salary changes, performance
appraisals and termination of assigned staff members.
25.
Responsible
for the company’s quality assurance program and ensures that all
department-applicable quality assurance requirements are fulfilled.
26.
Responsible
for participation in the company’s financial management and ensures that all
department-specific fiscal responsibilities are fulfilled.
27.
Responsible
for participation in the company’s Health and Safety program and ensures that
all department-applicable safety requirements are fulfilled.
28. As a member of the
Senior Management Team, assists in the strategic planning process.
29.
Prepares
the department’s strategic planning quarterly/semi annual reports.
30.
Performs
other related duties as assigned by the President and CEO.
Essential Skills and
Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, or other related field with at least five years of
experience in the field. Supervisory
experience a must.
2. Master’s degree
preferred.
3. Must be familiar with a
variety of the field’s concepts, practices, procedures and agency requirements.
4. Relies on extensive
experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Leads and directs the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is
expected.
