The Friends of Coronado present our fun-filled annual Fiesta of Cultures celebrating Pueblo, Hispanic, and Anglo artistic and cultural traditions. Come enjoy the blending of cultures with entertainment, demonstrations, and fine arts and crafts vendors selling amazing jewelry, pottery, tinwork, decorative gourds, weavings and fine art paintings.  

We’ll feature traditional Zia pottery firings, and blacksmithing demonstrations. Loving Thunder’s newest therapeutic riding pony will join the Fiesta along with friendly llamas and rescued raptors. We’re pleased to have a special performance by the exciting Mariachis Buenavista at 11 am, followed by Bernalillo’s Matachines Dancers at 1 pm and 3 pm.    You can meet some “Spanish Settlers” who will share their culture, then stop by local food vendors for yummy refreshments. We’ll have a hands-on crafts table for all ages, plus a children’s face painting booth!   Enjoy the beautifully updated museum exhibits plus a visit to the painted Kiva. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
