Early Intervention Quality Trainer
Description:  
Principal Accountabilities: (essential job functions):

1.      Work closely with Early Intervention Manager to ensure quality and compliance expectations are being met through training processes.

2.      Responsible for and track all Service Coordinator Training required through the Family Infant Toddler program. Staff trained as identified by Director of CTS Q/TC will schedule all field trainings hours with providers or with themselves..

3.      Responsible for and track all Developmental Specialist Training required through the Family Infant Toddler program.  Staff trained as identified by Director of CTS.  Q/TC will schedule all field trainings hours with providers or with themselves.

4.      Responsible for and track all IDA Training required through the Family Infant Toddler program. Staff trained as identified by Director of CTS.  Q/TC will schedule all field trainings hours with providers or with themselves.

5.      Responsible for and track all CME Training required through the Family Infant Toddler program. Staff trained as identified by Director of CTS.  Q/TC will schedule all field trainings hours with providers or with themselves.

6.      Responsible for and track all Annual Training required through the Family Infant Toddler program.  Staff trained as identified by Director of CTS.  Q/TC will schedule all field trainings hours with providers or with themselves.

7.      Review all IFSPs monthly for compliance and quality.  The Q/TC has the authority to require the provider to adjust IFSP until it meets the standard and is approved.

8.      Approved IFSPs and enter into FIT KIDS data base. 

Requirements:  
Conditions of Employment:

1.      Fingerprints, background check and TB test mandatory.

2.      Must have a valid and current driver's license with good driving record and must have current           auto insurance as required by applicable state law.

3.      Must be at least 18 years of age.

Essential Skills and Experience:

1.      Completed Family Service Coordinator, Developmental Specialist and IDA training as required by the Family Infant Toddler Program.

2.     Ability to execute documentation through Microsoft Software-Excel, Outlook and WORD.

3.     Clerical experience is required.

4.     Understanding of early intervention and/or NM FIT program.

5.     Must have experience and working knowledge of FIT-KIDS database.

6.     Participation in recent continuing education programs related to Children’s Therapy Services, per licensing requirements.                     

7.         The Early Intervention Quality/Training Coordinator should have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

8.         Time Management: Proven ability to manage ones own time and the time of others well. 

9.                     Monitoring: Proven practice of monitoring/assessing performance of oneself, other individuals, or organization to make improvements or take corrective action. 

10.                 Service Orientation:  Actively looking for ways to help people. 

11.                 Experience working in high performance teams and performing as a proven strong team player.
