Jazz or Flamenco Dance Teacher for Summer Program
June 8, 2020 to July 3, 2020
Job Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Avix Integrated Arts seeks a dedicated, enthusiastic teacher of Jazz Dance and/or
Flamenco theater. The position involves teaching summer workshop classes in either
Jazz dance or Flamenco or both with a potential to continue in the same position for our
2020/2021 after school programming.
Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years experience teaching either Jazz dance or
Flamenco. A bachelor’s degree in a related field and a passion for working with school-aged children grades 5 to 12. An advanced degree is preferred. This position, beginning on June 8, 2020, is contingent on sufficient enrollment.

- Be an enthusiastic teacher and supportive guide for school-aged students
- Continue to develop and coordinate our Jazz dance or Flamenco curriculum

Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal skills, communication skills, and an understanding of the developmental needs of school-aged students. This position also involves being an recruiter, which entails sharing Avix Integrated Arts programming on your social media pages.
