Annual New Mexico Bach Society Concert
The New Mexico Bach Society Chorale and Chamber Orchestra, a pillar of the New Mexico Performing Arts Society's annual concert series, is excited to bring together a bit of old and new for audiences at this year’s Bach Society Concerts.
The 2025 annual Bach Society Concerts will feature Bach’s Cantata BWV 21, “Ich hatte viel Bekümmernis,” and the world premiere of Cantata of Praise by Aaron Alter. The Alter cantata was commissioned by NMPAS and is based on texts from Psalms 118 and 150.
